The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) has announced a boon for candidates preparing for the CA Intermediate and Final May 2024 examinations. In a recent update, ICAI revealed the reopening of the application form correction window, providing candidates with the opportunity to make necessary adjustments to their examination details.
ICAI Schedule:
Scheduled to commence from March 21 at 10 am, and concluding on March 29 at 11:59 am, this window allows candidates to modify crucial details such as examination city, group, and medium. Accessible through the institute’s official website, icai.org, this feature aims to accommodate the needs of applicants who require alterations to their initial submissions.
In an official statement, INSTITUTE OF CHARTERED ACCOUNTANTS OF INDIA emphasized its commitment to facilitating examinees, ensuring a smooth and convenient examination process. The online request portal for changes will be available on the Self Service Portal (SSP) . This initiative reflects ICAI’s dedication to ensuring fairness and flexibility in the examination process.
While the correction window provides a lifeline for candidates seeking modifications, ICAI emphasized that other particulars outlined in previous announcements, dated January 25 and March 19, shall remain unchanged. Candidates are advised to remain vigilant and stay updated with the latest developments by regularly visiting the official website of the Institute, icai.org.
Moreover, in light of the forthcoming Lok Sabha Elections, INSTITUTE OF CHARTERED ACCOUNTANTS OF INDIA has rescheduled the CA Inter and Final May 2024 examinations. The revised dates for the Intermediate and Final course examinations are as follows:
- Intermediate Course:
- Group I exams: May 3, 5, and 9, 2024
- Group II exams: May 11, 15, and 17, 2024
- Final Course:
- Group I exams: May 2, 4, and 8, 2024
- Group II exams: May 10, 14, and 16, 2024
Additionally, the International Taxation Assessment Test is slated for May 14 and 16, 2024, providing candidates with ample time to prepare for this specialized examination.
It’s important to note that the Foundation examination, scheduled for June 2024, remains unaffected by the rescheduling, ensuring candidates are not inconvenienced by the electoral proceedings.
