Job Description

Tech Mahindra is currently seeking enthusiastic and technically skilled individuals to join their Service Desk team in Hyderabad. This position is ideal for freshers and candidates with up to one year of experience who are looking to begin or advance their careers in technical support.

Responsibilities

As a Service Desk associate in the Technical Support department, your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Customer Support: Handling customer requests through phone calls and providing after-hours support for troubleshooting technical issues.
  • Technical Troubleshooting: Addressing communication issues between paint dispensers and PCs, resolving calibration issues with color match machines, troubleshooting network connectivity problems, and offering application support for selling tools and color design software.
  • Hardware & Software Support: Providing comprehensive troubleshooting support for PC/laptop hardware and software issues. Familiarity with thermal printers or spectrometers is a plus.
  • Networking Support: Offering technical assistance with networking issues and providing solutions to maintain system connectivity.

Qualifications

  • Education: B.Tech/B.E. graduates in any specialization are eligible.
  • Experience: Freshers and candidates with 6 months to 1 year of experience are encouraged to apply.
  • Skills:
    • Strong communication skills with the ability to convey technical information clearly and effectively.
    • Good technical knowledge with a solid understanding of PC/laptop troubleshooting, both hardware and software.
    • Knowledge of networking and support is essential.
    • Additional knowledge of thermal printers or spectrometers will be advantageous.
  • Availability: Only immediate joiners will be considered for this role.

Preferred Qualifications

  • B.Tech Graduates: Candidates with a B.Tech degree are preferred for this position.
  • Technical Proficiency: Excellent communication skills paired with good technical knowledge.
  • Shift Flexibility: Willingness to work rotational shifts, including night shifts.
