“It has been reported that sure felony or anti-social parts or terrorists inimical to India might pose a risk to the security of most of the people, dignitaries and very important Installations by way of sub-conventional aerial platforms like para-gliders, para-motors, dangle gliders, unmanned aerial autos (UAVs), unmanned plane methods (UASs), micro-light plane, remotely piloted plane, scorching air balloons, small measurement powered plane, quadcopters and even by para-jumping from plane and so forth,” the Commissioner mentioned.
Mr Arora mentioned in view of such stories, the flying of sub-conventional aerial platforms over the Nationwide Capital Territory of Delhi is prohibited and punishable.
“In pursuance of the Ministry of House Affairs (MHA) notification and beneath part 144 of the Felony Process Code, 1973, I do hereby prohibit the flying of sub-conventional aerial platforms like para-gliders, para-motors, dangle gliders, UAVs, UASS, microlight plane, remotely piloted plane, scorching air balloons, small measurement powered plane, quadcopters or para leaping from plane and so forth. over the jurisdiction of the Nationwide Capital Territory of Delhi on the event of Republic Day Perform-2023 and doing so shall be punishable beneath part 188 of the Indian Penal Code,” he additional mentioned.
