No matter what you food you eat, pairing it with a dip or relish instantly elevates the experience. Some people like ketchup, while others prefer mustard sauce with their meals. A few choose to go for spicy chilli sauce while others tone it down with mayonnaise. One condiment or side dish that nobody can resist would be achaar. The humble Indian pickle goes well with practically every dish you would want to pair it. Recently, a Twitter user shared a picture of her mother eating a Subway sandwich with nothing but a simple achaar. Take a look:

The post was shared on Twitter by user halitosis4700. It received over 170k views and thousands of comments and likes in a span of a few days. In the picture, we could see a plate with an achaar kept on it. The Twitter user’s mother was dipping her Subway sandwich into the Indian relish. “Got my mom a sub and she’s eating it with achaar. Peak Indian mom behaviour,” she wrote in the caption of the post.
Interestingly, internet users found the pairing of Subway sandwich with pickle quite amusing and not bizarre at all. “Subway should introduce achari sauce,” suggested one user. “Achar is love, life and everything,” said another one. Many others shared laughing emojis and found the Indian mom quite ‘cute’. Few others shared what their mother would’ve done in a similar situation. “My mom will remove the salad and stuff And then eat the plain bun,” said a user.
