A bus driver was arrested for allegedly raping a Mumbai-based scholar holidaying in Goa, a police official stated on Monday.
The incident happened within the accused’s bus on Saturday and he was held by the ladies’s wing of Goa police on Sunday, the official stated.
“The accused is a resident of Zuarinagar in Vasco. The sufferer was a part of a bunch of 14 college students who’re on trip in Goa and had employed the accused’s bus. The accused has been remanded in police custody for 5 days,” he stated.
