A person was arrested for allegedly raping the 12-year-old daughter of his live-in associate in Nagpur metropolis of Maharashtra over a interval of 1 12 months, police mentioned on Sunday.
The 37-year-old accused is a resident of the Wathoda space of the town, they mentioned.
“The accused had been dwelling along with his 32-year-old live-in associate and her daughter from the primary marriage since October 2022. He began sexually assaulting the minor at any time when her mom stepped out for work,” an official from Hudkeshwar police station within the metropolis mentioned.
He indulged within the crime for the previous 12 months and threatened the survivor of dire penalties, as a result of which she didn’t reveal it to anybody, he mentioned.
