Thane:
Police have arrested a 19-year-old man for stealing costly bikes in Kalyan space of Maharashtra’s Thane district and recovered 13 autos, an official stated.
The accused, Subham Bhaskar Pawar, allegedly stole the pricey motorbikes to “impress” his girlfriend, Deputy Commissioner of Police (Zone III-Kalyan) Sachin Gunjal advised reporters on Wednesday.
He was arrested on Monday and following his interrogation, the police recovered 13 stolen motorbikes price Rs 16.05 lakh from varied locations together with Latur, Solapur and Pune, the official stated.
The native police are finishing up additional probe into the case, he added.
