Actress Raveena Tandon dedicates Padma Shri award to her late father Ravi Tandon.

Actress Raveena Tandon is on cloud 9 as she has been conferred with Padma Shri Award.
Forward of India’s 74th Republic Day, the Authorities of India, on Wednesday, launched a listing of the Padma awardees. Ms Raveena together with RRR’s music composer MM Keeravani will obtain the celebrated award later within the 12 months.
Ms Raveena reacted to the information with phrases crammed with gratitude. She dedicates this award to her late father Ravi Tandon.
She mentioned, “(I’m) Honoured and grateful. Thanks a lot, Authorities of India, for acknowledging my contributions, my life, my ardour and goal – cinema and the humanities, that allowed me to contribute, not solely to the movie business, but additionally past. I thank all those that guided me via this journey of Artwork and Craft of Cinema – all those that held my hand via it, and all those that watched me from their place above.I owe this to my father.”
The excellent news comes a day after Raveena Tandon was chosen as a delegate on the W20, which is the Girls’s Empowerment engagement wing at G20 India’s Presidency.
Other than Ms Raveena and MM Keeravani, Tabla maestro Zakir Hussain and singer Vani Jairam have been honoured with the Padma Vibhushan and the Padma Bhushan, respectively.
