A person has been arrested for allegedly raping a 14-year-old woman affected by epilepsy on the pretext of treating her in Kaushambi district, police stated on Sunday.
A senior police officer stated the woman has been affected by epilepsy for the previous three years and was present process remedy in personal hospitals, however there was no enchancment in her situation.
On December 24, when the woman’s father was away, the 45-year-old exorcist, got here to their home and satisfied her mom to ship her away with him to “do away with evil spirits”. After this, he took the woman to a secluded place and raped her, Singh stated.
