Only a day earlier than Republic Day celebrations, a robust bomb exploded in Manipur’s Ukhrul district on Wednesday, injuring three pedestrians.
The blast, suspected to be a hand grenade, passed off on the Neighborhood Circle (Gandhi Chowk) in Ukhrul city round 5 pm.
The blast created a small crater on the highway and induced minor harm to some autos parked on the roadside, information company PTI reported.
Of the three injured, a 49-year-old lady suffered accidents on her abdomen and is in important situation, whereas the opposite two are said to be out of hazard, PTI reported, quoting a police officer stated.
The three injured had been taken to Leishiphung Hospital for additional therapy, stated a supply.
